AGE MATTERS

As a 73 years old man, I feel that entitles me to a strong opinion on age. I do not advocate any age discrimination in the private sector, but I strongly believe in age limits for all of Congress, the Supreme Court, and the President. I have written about this before, and I think 80 should be the maximum age. That generous age allows for a lifetime of service and dedication. I'm not suggesting older folks couldn't serve as trusted advisors or mentors, it's just time for the younger generation to take over.

Common sense dictates we pay attention to what is right in front of us. Does anyone really believe Senators Feinstein and McConnell are up to the job?

President Biden is too old to run again. Is there no one up to the task in their 50's or 60's? It is time we address the ruling gerontocracy problem in America. Maybe then we could start addressing the nitwit problem, but that is another topic.
